ADVISORY for 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND

We’re are excited to have you join us for our nation’s birthday this weekend. We expect this to be a busy weekend so be aware:

• Expect extended wait times to purchase tickets, catch the shuttle bus, and get your tube for the river.
• The river will be more crowded than usual.
• During this time of year – everyone has the same idea – go tubing! Please be patient with us and our employees as the heat index is high and it will be extremely hot!
• Your float time on the river will take longer due to extra people on the river.
• The water is a little lower than normal due to evaporation and the extreme heat.
• Please make sure you have shoes, sunscreen and water. If not these items are available for purchase.
• With the increased traffic and people in Helen for the holiday weekend (from getting armbands to exiting the river) may reach 5 hours.
